The whole story began in the post-war period, in 1955 in La Trinité-sur-Mer. Quite by chance, pastry chef Lucien Petit invented the recipe for a pure butter wafer-thin curl. It was the start of a great adventure: the birth of La Trinitaine Biscuit Factory! In 2015, to mark its 60th anniversary, production of this biscuit was relaunched with Petit’s original Baratte butter recipe. It’s a genuine gourmet experience! Perfect with that cup of coffee or dipped in yoghurt, the crunchy wafer-thin curl also makes a perfect base for your cakes.
